Operating Dates: Open March 27 through October 8. Gates and registration office open at 8:00 a.m. Visitors must leave by 11:00 p.m. Seasonal hours, Memorial Day through Labor Day, are 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; remainder of the season, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Pets are allowed; however, they must be kept on a six foot leash and never be left unattended. No pets are allowed on the beach or in the water.

Alcohol is prohibited in the entire park.

Camping rates – 20-30 amp service is $27.00 per night, including electricity and shower. 50 amp service is $29.00 per night, including electricity and shower.

Vehicle Entry Fee – Starting October 1, 2010, Michigan registered vehicles are required to have a Recreation Passport for entry. Each registered owner will have the opportunity to “opt in” for a $10 fee at the Secretary of State Offices when they renew their vehicle registration. This fee would allow entry into all 98 state park and recreation facilities. Those who have not had an opportunity to “opt in,” will not be required to have the Recreation Passport until they are able to do so at the Secretary of State Office. A Recreation Passport can be purchased at the park.

Non-Resident Daily Motor Vehicle Permit is $8.00.
Non-Resident Annual Motor Vehicle Permit is $29.00.
Non-Resident Tow Vehicle Permit is $6.00.
Commercial Vehicle Permit (over 12 passengers) is $15.00.
