WELCOME TO MUSKEGON STATE PARK at 3560 Memorial Drive in Muskegon, Michigan. Muskegon State Park offers fishing, boating, over 12 miles of hiking trails and a variety of camping experiences. All sites can be reserved at 1-800-44PARKS (1-800-447-2757) or online at www.michigan.gov/dnr.

Channel Campground and Lake Michigan Campground are open April 9 through October 24, 2010.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all campgrounds from April 15 to June 15. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in Day Use areas (everywhere but camp-grounds) from April 15 to Labor Day.

Camping Rates – 20-30 amp service is $26.00 per night. 50 amp service is $28.00 per night. Mini Cabins for Rent for $45.00 per night. Picnic Shelter Rental Fee with advanced reservation is $50.00 per day.

Pets are allowed, however they must be personally attended at all times, be on a six foot leash and must never be on beaches or near water. Excrement must be cleaned up and disposed of. Remember to bring licenses and proof of rabies vaccination.

Special Camping Rules – Campers cannot camp for more than 15 consecutive nights. Campers may have non-camping guests between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. No more than two vehicles per campsite. Campsites must be occupied each night. Check out is 1:00 p.m.
