WELCOME TO PIONEER PARK at 1563 N. Scenic Drive in Muskegon, Michigan. Muskegon County Parks are open 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily from May 1 to September 30 and 8:00 a.m. to dark daily from October 1 to April 30.
All visitors to the campground and day-use facilities must leave before 10:00 p.m. Only registered campers and their vehicles are permitted to remain on park property past 10:00 p.m.
Pioneer Park Fees - Overnight camping is $24.00 per night (No reservations taken for regular campsites). Group camping is $300 per night, two night minimum, seven night maximum (Call for information and reservations). Motor Vehicle Permits: Daily $5.00; Annual $20.00. Picnic Lodge is available for $80.00 per day. No refunds for camping or vehicle permits.
Reservation of Park Facilities Pioneer Park does not accept reservations for individual campsites. Reservations can be made for the Pioneer Park group camping area and the picnic lodge. To reserve these facilities, please call the Pioneer Park office at (231) 744-3580 on or after the first business day of each year.
Motor Vehicle Permits - All campers and visitors to Pioneer Park are required to purchase and display a valid Muskegon County Motor Vehicle Permit on their vehicle s windshield. Two types of passes are available: Daily and Annual. A Daily Pass is valid for the date of purchase only. An Annual Pass is valid at any Muskegon County Park for the current calendar year. All passes can be purchased at the Park Office.
Alcoholic Beverage Ban ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT ALLOWED in any of the Muskegon County Parks.
First Aid First aid may be obtained from any park ranger or at the Park Office. In case of emergency, dial 911.
